Privacy Policy

Aybar Painting LLC ("Aybar Painting", "we", "us") is a painting contractor based in Colonie, New York. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you request an estimate, we collect what you enter in the form:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your project address, city and ZIP code
- Details about the project (services, room counts, sizes, condition, timing) and your message
- Any photos you choose to upload
- How you heard about us and your preferred walkthrough date and time
If you hire us, we also keep the invoices we send you, your emails with us about the job, and whether and how each invoice was paid (for example "card", "bank transfer" or "check"). We never see or store your card or bank account numbers. Online payments are entered on Stripe's secure payment page, not on our website.
Our server also keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and request time) to keep the site secure and to block spam. We don't use advertising trackers, analytics, session recording or third-party pixels, and the site loads no outside scripts or fonts.
How we use it
We use your information only to:
- Prepare and send your estimate, written quote and invoices, and take payment
- Contact you by email or phone about your project and schedule a walkthrough
- Do the work you hire us for, and keep records of it
- Protect the website from abuse
We send transactional emails related to your request: a confirmation when you submit, our replies, invoices and payment receipts. When you reply to our emails, your reply is shown to us alongside your request so we have the whole conversation in one place. We don't send marketing emails or text messages from this website, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
What we don't do
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We don't share it with other businesses for their marketing.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of service providers to run the website, and only for that purpose:
- Oracle Cloud hosts the website and stores your request and photos.
- Google (Gmail) delivers the emails between you and us.
- Stripe processes online invoice payments. When you pay online, you give your payment details directly to Stripe, which handles them under its own privacy policy.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How we protect it
The website uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Requests, photos and invoices are stored on a private server and are visible only to our staff through a password-protected dashboard. Each invoice link is a long, random address that can't be guessed. They are not publicly accessible. We limit how often the form and login can be used to reduce abuse. If a security breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you as required by New York law.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests for as long as needed to serve you, up to three years. After that they're deleted automatically, or sooner if you ask. If you hired us, we keep your invoices and related records for seven years after the last invoice, because tax law requires us to keep business records. Backup copies are removed within 14 days.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time. Email aybarpainting518@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Visitors aren't tracked with cookies. The only cookie this site sets is a sign-in cookie for our staff dashboard. If you pay online, Stripe's payment page may set its own cookies for fraud prevention.
Children
This site is for homeowners and businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
